Hi and thanks for your patience! I know it's been more than a week since the last update, but I didn't want to bug you again without some actual dates. 

So here's the first bit of news!

Big news!

Backers will get the download codes for the digital version of Looking For Buildings on Friday!

I'm still waiting for dates for the CDs, but I just didn't want to make you wait any longer for the digital album.

Other news

The T-shirts are on the way to me and should be here on Friday. The company that makes the keychains didn't give me a tracking number, but FedEx says a package for me is in Oakland, CA right now -- I'm pretty sure that's the keychains. That package is currently expected to show up here on Thursday.

The stickers are already here and ready to go.

I am shipping all of this stuff in a single package to each person along with the CDs, though, so when I get to ship to you is all up to the CD manufacturer now.

This all feels to me like it's been forever, but it's actually been only just over two weeks since Kickstarter paid me, so this is actually going really quickly! I'm just impatient. :D

The manufacturing is happening

Hi! Just a little update. I've already got all the stickers (Sticker Mule is so fast! I recommmend them completely if you need stickers). The keychains are ordered and in process.  The t-shirts are ordered and in process. The music and album cover graphics are uploaded to the CD manufacturer.

The keychains should be here by the end of the month. The t-shirts: roughly the same time, maybe a couple of days later. I don't have a date yet for the CDs but I think sometime in early October is likely.  Re: the digital album, I am aiming for that to come out on an official "release day" with the CDs. I'll let you know as soon as I have that exact date.

So then shipping to all of you starts!

Hi! You probably know that I sent out the Backerkit surveys a few days ago. Backerkit says "usually 80% of backers will respond within a week, so be patient!" Well, it's well under a week and you are amazing, because we are already at 83%! This is really helpful! Thank you!

If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" at https://lookingforbuildings.backerkit.com/ and enter the email address you used for your Kickstarter pledge, and you'll be able to access your survey that way.

If you have friends who missed the Kickstarter campaign but are still interested in getting the album or some merch, please send them to https://lookingforbuildings.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders where they can purchase those things directly.

Timeline stuff

Kickstarter sent me an email at 7:01 pm tonight, exactly two weeks after the campaign ended. It said "We’re sending the funds for Looking For Buildings: Wendi Dunlap's debut album to your account." 

Yay!

"...Your bank may take a few extra days to process the transfer."

...Oh. I will have to be patient for a couple more days. :) 

So... I think, since people are being so amazing about filling out the surveys (there are actually only 5 more responses I really need -- the others are people who aren't having any items shipped),  I will "lock" your orders next week. Then I will know the number and size of t-shirts to order.  Keychains, stickers, and cd totals are already set. Once the orders are locked I can order the shirts, etc. 

I will send a "48-hour warning" email before the orders lock. After they lock, you can't change the items in the order anymore, but you'll still be able to change your address until just before the items are shipped.

If you are in the More Music! reward tier: your "more music" digital downloads are ready to go and should automatically become available to you as soon as your orders are locked. If you want me to lock your own order sooner so you can get the downloads sooner, let me know. :)
