It's here!

Today is the day! If your pledge included the digital version of Looking for Buildings, you should be receiving an email any second now with your download code for the album! (It's at the email you gave Kickstarter. Of course, as always with stuff like this, if you don't see it, check your spam folder...) As backers, you are getting your copy of the album early, because I can also announce an official release day for the rest of the world: October 22! Pre-orders on Bandcamp should be open next Friday, so start telling your friends about it soon!

To use your code

The amazing Futureman Records will be putting the record out! So for now, you need to go to their Bandcamp page at https://futuremanrecords.bandcamp.com/yum and enter the code from your email. Then Bandcamp will let you download the music in your choice of several formats. If you have any trouble, let me know!

The other rewards

The keychains are here! And they are so cool! They came out exactly as I hoped.  Check 'em out:

I am very happy with them. I ordered them from PrintGlobe and can recommend them if you have a need to order something similar. There are lots of people selling hotel-style key chains out there, but the price and speed of production at PrintGlobe was the best.

The t-shirts are supposed to be here later today. The cds are supposed to be here very soon.  My current estimation is that I will be able to ship things by next Friday, but I will let you know if that turns out to be a miscalculation.

Hi and thanks for your patience! I know it's been more than a week since the last update, but I didn't want to bug you again without some actual dates. 

So here's the first bit of news!

Big news!

Backers will get the download codes for the digital version of Looking For Buildings on Friday!

I'm still waiting for dates for the CDs, but I just didn't want to make you wait any longer for the digital album.

Other news

The T-shirts are on the way to me and should be here on Friday. The company that makes the keychains didn't give me a tracking number, but FedEx says a package for me is in Oakland, CA right now -- I'm pretty sure that's the keychains. That package is currently expected to show up here on Thursday.

The stickers are already here and ready to go.

I am shipping all of this stuff in a single package to each person along with the CDs, though, so when I get to ship to you is all up to the CD manufacturer now.

This all feels to me like it's been forever, but it's actually been only just over two weeks since Kickstarter paid me, so this is actually going really quickly! I'm just impatient. :D

The manufacturing is happening

Hi! Just a little update. I've already got all the stickers (Sticker Mule is so fast! I recommmend them completely if you need stickers). The keychains are ordered and in process.  The t-shirts are ordered and in process. The music and album cover graphics are uploaded to the CD manufacturer.

The keychains should be here by the end of the month. The t-shirts: roughly the same time, maybe a couple of days later. I don't have a date yet for the CDs but I think sometime in early October is likely.  Re: the digital album, I am aiming for that to come out on an official "release day" with the CDs. I'll let you know as soon as I have that exact date.

So then shipping to all of you starts!
